Stylish Summer Wedding at the Cliff at Lyons | Sara & Davitt

Ruth and Dave’s September 2025 wedding at No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place was the perfect example of how beautiful an intimate Dublin wedding can be. Stylish, relaxed and full of personality, their day brought together their closest family and friends, with their two young children very much at the heart of it all.

The day began nearby at The Wilder Townhouse, where Ruth and Dave got ready before heading to No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place for the rest of the celebrations. The Wilder is a gorgeous spot for getting ready, with its colourful interiors and characterful details providing plenty of opportunities for relaxed morning photographs before the excitement of the day really began.

From there, everyone made their way to No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place, one of Dublin’s beautiful Georgian wedding venues. The elegant townhouse provided the perfect backdrop for Ruth and Dave’s intimate celebration, combining classic Dublin architecture with a relaxed, contemporary feel.

There was something particularly lovely about photographing this wedding because it never felt overly formal. The focus was on spending time together, enjoying the day and celebrating as a family. Their two children were a huge part of the story, adding plenty of energy, personality and those wonderfully unpredictable moments that make family wedding photographs so much fun.

No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place wedding photography

One of my favourite parts of photographing weddings at No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place is being able to combine the beautiful interiors of the house with the surrounding streets and spaces of Dublin. Ruth and Dave took a little time away from the celebrations for a stroll to the nearby canal, giving us the chance to capture some relaxed portraits away from the main wedding.

Rather than spending ages posing for photographs, we kept things natural and let the walk unfold. The canal provided a lovely change of scene and some quieter moments for the two of them together, while still keeping them close to the heart of their Dublin wedding.

For me, that is exactly what makes No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place wedding photography so special. You can have the elegance of a beautiful Georgian townhouse, while still stepping outside and making use of the character and atmosphere of Dublin city.

Ruth and Dave’s September wedding was intimate, stylish and genuinely full of joy. From getting ready at The Wilder, to celebrating with their children and closest loved ones at No. 25, it was a brilliant reminder that you don’t need a huge guest list to have an incredibly memorable wedding day.
