Hi & Thanks For Stopping By!
My name is Caroline Mc Nally & I’m the mug behind the lens here at Wild Things Wed.
I’m a camera nut, born & based in Dublin. I currently live in Clontarf with James, my partner of 12 years, and our cats, Logan & Cal.
I have been obsessed with photography, film & pretty much all things creative for as long as I remember.
I started out as a fine art photographer and achieved a 1st class honours BA in photography from DIT in 2012.
Straight after college I went in to commercial photography & helped run a small studio in Fumbally Court where I did everything from high-end product photography, to stock images and corporate headshots.
I began second shooting weddings in 2014 {after responding to a Gumtree ad of all things} and right away I was hooked!
I have now been a full-time wedding photographer since 2015 {first under my own name ‘Caroline McNally Photography‘ & since 2017 as ‘Wild Things Wed’} and I’ve lost count but I’m well over the 200 wedding mark now.

My Style.
A few words that I think sum-up my style are; relaxed, artistic and candid.
For the most part I take a documentary approach, this means I act like a fly-on-the-wall and work in an unobtrusive manner to capture the candid moments as they happen.
Then for other parts of the day, like the family & couple portraits, I like to get a little more creative and work with you to take some really fun & exciting images together. Fear not though, this doesn’t mean I’ll be bossing you about & posing you or making you do anything cheesy, it’s more about finding super cool locations to shoot & of course finding the perfect patches of light!
There is something so special about getting to capture a couples wedding day and I am always pushing myself to improve and snap those perfect images – the candid moments, emotions, laughs and tears (the happy kind!) – that you can cherish for a lifetime and that will transport you back to the day every time you look at them.
If you like what you’ve heard so far and get the feeling that I might just be the perfect match for your day then please drop me a line to say hello and get the ball rolling.
Tell me all about your wedding, in particular let me know where you’re getting married and when so I can send you on my relevant package details.
I’d also be more than happy to meet up for a chat so you can ask me any questions you have in person and see if I’m the right fit for your day.
